Terry Howe Artist
I walk past old floating pontoons most days and love the effects of weathering and the munching of the gribble worms. The pontoons are 50/60 years old and constructed from pitch pine and held together by steel pins with bolts. The pieces shown here are segments chopped up with a chainsaw and more often than not, burnt or put into landfill. I could not let that happen.
